"Don't Need Love" was the debut single for Johnny Diesel and the Injectors, and became the first of 5 singles released from their highly successful self-titled album in 1989. Recorded at Ardent Recording Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, "Don't Need Love" entered the ARIA Australian Singles Chart peaking at #10 in December 1988. It is still one of my favourite songs from the group and I felt fortunate to have found this 7" vinyl at Sydney's Glebe Record Fair, along with two more of their hit singles; "Soul Revival" and "Cry In Shame". All three 45s have picture sleeve covers with only very minor wear and tear, still in excellent condition. This is a great 45 to listen too, especially if you love classic Australian rock. It's best if you turn it up loud to enjoy, a real gem..!
